If I agree to sell my Motorcycle, will you take it then and there?

Yes, if you agree to sell your Motorcycle our we will immediately start the process for buying the Motorcycle. If all the documents are in place and everything else checks out then we will take your Motorcycle there and then after agreeing the sale. Funds will be instantly transferred to your account, and when you're happy, we will leave with the bike.

How long should my appointment take?

Your appointment will take about 20-30 minutes. This will include thorough inspection of the Motorcycle and a short test ride. You will have to stay available throughout the appointment.

What is needed in an appointment to sell my Motorcycle?

We will need the following things for the appointment; The V5 logbook/ registration certificate; Personal ID with Proof of Address. All service history & MOT certificates. All available keys; Bank details and if on finance, a current settlement letter.

What happens during an appointment?

Our specialist buyer will visit you on the agreed date and time. We will inspect the bikes, condition, documentation and roadworthiness.  Based on the inspection, we will provide you a valuation which will be our final price for your Motorcycle. The price quoted online will not change if all the details provided match the physical inspection. If you agree to sell your Motorcycle, we will start the buying and payment procedure immediately.

How do I make an appointment?

Making an appointment is very easy. Just enter your bikes registration number onto our website. You will receive an email or call from us to gather further details of the Motorcycle, give you a valuation, and we will work with you to arrange an appointment that is convenient for both parties.

Motorcycle ownership

Can I sell my company’s Motorcycle?

Yes, we will need to see the follow: A form of photo identification for the person attending the appointment. Letter signed from the company director giving authorization for that person to sell on their behalf. Company account details e.g. bank paying in book or company bank statement. One form of identification for the business address. Both sets of Motorcycle keys if available. All service history and MOT certificates if available. V5 logbook/registration certificate registered in the company's name and address. Further documentation may be required, however you will be advised of this prior to our visit.

How do I sell my deceased relatives Motorcycle?

It is a very hard decision to sell the personal belonging of someone close to you, but sometimes when such events happen there is no other choice. In such cases, we will be fully supportive in buying your Motorcycle provided all the legal formalities have been taken. We would be required to see a few standard documents relating to the bereavement to satisfy due diligence.

How long do I need to own the Motorcycle before selling it?

To sell your Motorcycle to us, you need to be the owner of the Motorcycle for a minimum of 1 month. We understand that sometimes you need a motorcycle for a short period of time so while some require 3-6 months ownership. We only require 1.

What do I need to do to sell my spouse’s Motorcycle?

If you are selling your spouse’s or family members Motorcycle for any reason, we will need an authorization letter from them. The letter should state that he/she is willing to sell the Motorcycle & has given you the authority to deal with the sale on your behalf. All the remaining formalities remain the same.

Payment for my Motorcycle

Will the payment be made into my account if I am not the owner of the Motorcycle?

No, to avoid fraud we ensure that the payment is credited only in the account of the owner of the Motorcycle. But, if you are selling your spouse’s Motorcycle or of a relative then we will need an authorization letter from the stated individual giving you permission to sell the Motorcycle.

How does the payment process work?

The payment process is very simple and fast. Once you agree to sell your Motorcycle, we will need details of your bank account. The bank account details should match with the name mentioned on the V5C log book of the Motorcycle i.e. the payment will be transferred only to the name of the owner. This is done to avoid any fraud. With our faster payments system, funds are usually recieved within seconds. Once you have confirmed receipt, we will then take the bike away.

Will there be any changes in the price quoted for my Motorcycle?

We provide a valuation via email and then come to inspect your Motorcycle on your date and time of appointment. The valuation provided remotely, is subject to change if some relevant details of the Motorcycle had not been provided beforehand. Once the inspection is complete and the valuation is provided there won’t be any changes in the price. If you decide not to sell your bike there and then, we can hold the price for a week or so. However another journey to you may incur a return travel fee.

Selling my Motorcycle

I have outstanding finance against my Motorcycle, will you buy it?

Yes, we do buy Motorcycles with outstanding finances. We will pay the pending amount to the finance company directly. This amount will be deducted from the total valuation of your Motorcycle and the remaining amount will be deposited in your bank account. To make the process quicker we will need an up to date settlement letter from your finance company. We may be required to call the finance company to confirm any outstanding amounts.

Where do I drop-off my Motorcycle?

We come to you! Once you confirm to sell your Motorcycle and all an appointment is arranged we will pick your Motorcycle up for free. We believe in removing all the hassles of selling a Motorcycle for the seller so it doesn’t matter if your Motorcycle is at your office or at home we will come and pick it up.

Will you buy my non-running Motorcycle?

We can occassionally buy non-running motorcycles, depending on other factors such as condition and documentation.

My Motorcycle brand is not showing on your website, will you buy my Motorcycle?

We are interested in buying all Motorcycle brands. We have only mentioned some of the brands on our website, but it doesn’t mean we buy only these Motorcycles. If you own a Motorcycle and are willing to sell it, we are interested. You can get started immediately by entering your Motorcycles registration number on our website.

What do I need to have with me when I sell my Motorcycle?

To sell your Motorcycle you need to have your IDs (one photo ID and one proof of address) and also the documents of the Motorcycle. The forms of original photo ID we accept include: Driving license; Passport; Forces ID. Proof of address we accept include: Utility bill; Council tax letter' Bank statement. The Motorcycle documents we need are: V5 logbook (registration certificate) any other documents, such as service history and owners manual. You’ll also need to have your bank details to hand so we can pay you.

How do I sell my Motorcycle for the best price?

Condition of your Motorcycle plays a big part in it's value, along with service history, previous owners and age. Repairing any obvious damage will be very beneficial in increasing the valuation of your Motorcycle, as well as ensuring it is clean. If your Motorcycle is due for an MOT soon it is advisable to renew it before sale.

Can I bring my Motorcycle to you for inspection?

Absolutely, you may also get a little extra, as we do not have to spend time and incur travel expenses. We are based in South Staffordshire WS7 and can see you on an appointment basis. Please make us aware if you wish to come to us.

Do you buy Insurance write offs?

Yes, we can. We need them to have been repaired to a good standard and be of a Category N or D. We do not purchase Category S or C.

What kind of Motorcycle do you buy?

We buy all types of Motorcycle; Scooter; Moped and Monkey Bike. As long as it's road legal, we will concider it.

Valuation

My Motorcycle has optional extras, will they be considered in your valuation?

This is the beauty of WE125. We take into account all the extras added on your Motorcycle. Whether it has a sports exhaust system or a full set of panniers, all the extras will be taken into account to provide you with a truly tailored valuation.

How long is the Motorcycle valuation valid for?

The valuation of a Motorcycle changes regularly depending on the needs of the market. Hence, the valuation provided by us will be valid for a period of 1 week. If you decide to sell your motorcycle after that time, the value may be adjusted.

Is there a fee for valuation?

There are no transaction or administration fees associated with your valuation. Whether you sell the Motorcycle to us or not the valuation will be done for you for free. We never charge admin fees for purchase either. Why should you pay to sell your bike?

What determines the valuation of my Motorcycle?

There are a lot of factors affecting the value of a Motorcycle, some of which are fixed and some keep changing. Hence, the valuation done today might not be the same after a month. Some factors which affect your valuation are make or model of the Motorcycle, condition, service history, time of the year, demand for a particular model, mileage etc.
